The Problem

A homeowner needs to grant access to service personnel such as, the cable company, or the plumber, but they must be in attendance elsewhere.   Most large companies like the cable company give 4 hour windows for their time of arrival.   Most working homeowners cannot be at home that long waiting for them to arrive.  
An owner of vacation property may want to grant access to a friend or business associate for the weekend and they may not want to give them the keys to the property.

The Challenge

To allow a homeowner to grant access to their property for service personnel to do work on their house.
To allow friends and business associates access to vacation property for the weekend or longer.

The Solution

Homeowners can use Dial A Key to receive the current combination for the door they installed the ten-digit key pad locking device on.   They give the combination to the person needing access to the home.   The person enters the combination into the key pad and, if correct, the door will open.   After the combination has been used, it is no longer valid and the homeowner would need to call Dial a Key again to retrieve a new combination.
