Secure Bicycle Storage

The Problem

Bike lockers either remain open when not in use or become reserved by anyone using a padlock.   Current locking technology has a long list of problems including cost, control, and maintenance.

The Challenge

To implement a low cost, easy to control, and maintenance free bike storage locker system.

The Solution

When the member arrives at the bike locker, they can find an empty locker, then call Dial a key to retrieve the current locker's combination code.   When the member enters in the correct combination the door opens, they put their bike into the locker and close the door.   When they are ready to take the bike out they call Dial a Key to get the current combination, they enter the combination into the bike locker and, if correct, the bike locker will open.   The member can retrieve their bike, close the door and leave. Dial a Key then charges the member for using the bike storage locker.
